The Troth is part of a broad based effort to create an inclusive Heathen Coalition with other Heathen organizations

The group formed in late 2025 after Troth elections which showed membership of The Troth wanted a move towards greater cooperation with other inclusive Heathen organizations. The Troth announced in summer 2025 that it was in talks with The Asatru Community, and the coalition has expanded since then now with representatives from several Heathen organizations.

There are no plans to dissolve any of the groups who are participating in this coalition into a single group. We celebrate each other’s diversity and uniqueness, and recognize that each of us have something to bring to the work that we must do as Heathens.

The group announced today: 

We, the undersigned, are in the process of drafting a new shared position statement that would address the future of Declaration 127 to reflect the needs of our faith in this moment and beyond.

We are also developing a number of shared programs, improvements to our education programs, and are discussing the future of deeper cooperation within Heathenry.
