Organizational Statements and Individual Statements by Members | The Troth

Position Statement | April 8, 2024

The Troth supports the efforts of any inclusive Heathen organization to create sanctuary for the vulnerable, to organize and deliver aid to those in need, and to do work that furthers our shared values of inclusivity, equity and peace. We are always open to collaboration and cooperation with any organizations in those efforts that are in line with those values and ethical standards.

The personal opinions of any member of The Troth regardless of office, unless otherwise specified, are not reflective of the stance of the Organization. The only organization that the Troth has officially taken an official position towards is the Asatru Folk Assembly in 2017 when we signed on to Declaration 127.

While interpersonal conflicts or misunderstandings might arise between individuals working within different organizations with shared goals, such conflicts or misunderstandings do not and will not reflect any policy set forth by our Board of Directors unless specified via official statement.

Decisions regarding which organizations The Troth will work with will rest with the Board of Directors–the composition of which is determined through election by the membership–and not with any one person, regardless of office.
