Trothmoot 2022: High Rede Election Results and New Officers

In accordance with our Bylaws, our High Rede (Board of Directors) is elected by our members for three year terms.

Rede Election Results

Two new members joined the Rede for a three year term Benjamin Kowalsky-Grahek and Ann “Groa” Sheffield.

Crystal Radcliffe will join the Rede to serve out the term of Lauren Crow.

This also brought to an end the Rede terms of Eric Kenyon and Thomas de Mayo. They will, however, continue to serve as Troth Ambassadors.

New Steer Elected

The term of Robert L. Schreiwer has come to an end, though he will remain close to the Rede in an advisory role as a “Steer Emeritus.”

From Rob:

Congratulations to Lauren Crow on taking over the helm of The Troth!

Now, with 13 years under my belt, I take on some old roles and some new roles.

The Troth is in good hands!

Lauren Crow won the Rede election for Steer.

From the new Steer, Lauren Crow:

“In this uncertain era, The Troth must continue to grow in its efforts in anti-Racism, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and making sure all who have felt marginalized feel safe in our halls and continue to push forward with initiatives to support this mission. I am grateful for the support of our current Rede and officers to make sure we can continue to grow, learn, and change to always remain on the right side of history.”

New Officer Appointments

Steer Lauren Crow appointed the following Officers:

Carl Bonebright will continue as Associate Steer.

Benjamin Kowalsky-Grahek will serve as Communications Officer, replacing Lauren Crow.

Ky Greene will serve as Officer Liaison.
