Hammer, Oak, and Lightning: A Thor Devotional

The Troth has the honor to announce the official publication of the first in what is looking to be a sizable series of devotional books for individual deities: Jeremy Baer’s _Hammer, Oak, and Lightning: A Thor Devotional_. Jeremy reviews the lore of Thor and his appearances in artworks and artifacts from the Stone Age to the present. He presents rituals, prayers, and even a song for Thor. Jeremy’s formidable wife (and formidable Steerswoman of the Troth) Snow Fuller contributes an essay of her own.

The book’s available on Lulu.com as a PDF, paperback, or hardcover. The paperback lists for $10, but for a limited time we’re knocking the price down to $8.

The hardcover, in a full-color dust jacket, lists for $28, but for a limited time we’re knocking the price down to $21. Are we crazy, giving you such big savings? Quite possibly!
And the PDF is a steal at $5!

AND THAT’S NOT ALL! If you order between now and August 15 at midnight, you can take an extra 10% off all printed books. Just enter the coupon code LULU10 when you check out. In fact, now would be a great time to check out the Troth’s full line of books and IDUNNA back issues—including IDUNNA #116, the Tyr issue, which we’ve just reprinted!

The print books will also be available on Amazon.com and other book sites like barnesandnoble.com, but it may take a couple of weeks to get them listed. Until then, mosey on over to Lulu.com and have a look at the latest addition to our book lineup.

Hail Jeremy, for creating this work to the honor of Thor!

Hail Thor!
